Disney Introduces Cars 2 Toys for the iPad

Just the Facts: Disney has launched AppMATes, a new toy line that helps turn an Apple iPad into a play mat. The first series are toy cars featuring characters from the Cars 2 movie. Each micro vehicle is equipped with a sensor that, when placed atop the iPad, brings the car to life after the user downloads a free app, allowing it to race, play games or equip its car with weapons or other gadgets before a mission.
