The Los Angeles Lakers retained the top spot in Marc Stein’s NBA Power Rankings this week.  However, Stein lamented the timing of Andrew Bynum’s suspension.  “The Lakers held off Portland, sure, but Bynum’s suspension halts the best run of his career,” Stein writes.  ”Drew reached double digits in rebounds in seven straight games, after doing so just 10 times in his first 39 games.”  Bynum has been huge for the Lakers since the All-Star break, serving as in inside force that makes the Lakers nearly unstoppable down low.  With Bynum playing at a high level, Los Angeles has to be the favorite in the entire league to win it all.
The Bulls come in at number two, followed by the Spurs at three.  The Miami Heat jumped up two spots, from sixth to fourth,lisseur ghd fers plats, this week.  “The Heat salvaged a 5-6 record from that killer 11-game stretch despite losing the first five of those games,” Stein writes.  ”They’re suddenly up to 20-20 against teams with records of .500 or better.  They’re thrilled,hair straighteners reviews, basically.”  The Heat seem to be coming together at the right time, as Chris Bosh is finally playing at a high level.  They’ll be a team to watch in the postseason.
